Community Sports Organizations
Sports participation plays an important role in the growth and development of children and the Glenview Park District works to provide as wide a range of youth sports programs as possible to our community. Park District sports offerings are listed under the Youth Sports Leagues and Youth Sports Programs headings above. To expand the opportunities available, we have also partnered with several independent community partners to make additional team sports programs available to our youth. Glenview Youth Baseball
Little league for boys & girls grades K-8,
with T-ball for kindergartners and coaches pitching for first graders. Online Registration: New and returning players may register online in November and December at www.GlenviewYouthBaseball.com. AYSO Soccer
The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) sponsors a youth soccer program for boys and girls, kindergarten through grade 8. The program is a fun, competitive experience for the players stressing an "everyone plays" philosophy. Registration for the spring session is held in January. Registration for the fall session is held in May. Watch the Park District's Particulars school newsletter and local papers for dates. Glenview Titans Fastpitch Association
A fastpitch softball travel program for girls age 9-16
, GFTA  provides girls with a competitive, fun and rewarding experience in league and tournament play as well as quality instruction in skills, strategies, sportsmanship and teamwork. Games are played May-July with tryouts held in early fall. Visit www.titansfastpitch.org for more information.

Glenview Junior Titan Football
A fall tackle football program for fifth through eighth grade students. Registration takes place in May. For more information, visit www.glenviewjuniortitan.org.

Glenview Soccer Club
A competitive traveling soccer program with teams for boys and girls in divisions Under 8 through Under 14. Tryouts are held in June.  For more information, visit www.GlenviewSoccerClub.com.

Glenview Blades Organization
The Glenview Blades Organization consists of family members who support the Glenview Ice Center's synchronized skating teams: Mini Blades, a Junior Youth formation team, made up of 12-20 skaters mainly ages 8 years or younger skating at Beta level and up; the Stellar Blades, a Youth formation team, which is made up of 15-20 skaters with most skaters ages 9-11 years skating at Freestyle 1 level and up; and the Junior Blades, a Youth skating team, made up of 15-20 skaters with most skaters between the ages of 9 and 11 skating at a level of Freestyle 4 or higher. The success of the Synchro teams is due in large part to the efforts of these team families who volunteer at various functions throughout the year. The bulk of their volunteer efforts are geared towards fundraising to help defray team costs of items such as costumes, tights, t-shirts, team jackets, team dinners, competition entry fees and more. Glenview Stars Travel Hockey
The Glenview Stars' travel hockey program is designed for players who want to make a serious commitment to the game of hockey. With the finest coaching staff in the state, the Glenview Stars Hockey Association has been one of the most respected and successful travel hockey programs in North America. The Stars field teams in the Northern Illinois Hockey League for Mite to Bantam players at the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Gold Elite levels. During the travel hockey season, players can expect to have upwards of 40 practices, 20 league games, skills clinics and the opportunity to travel to local and out of state hockey tournaments.
